    Description

    Vintage 80s American Airlines hooded sweatshirt jacket. Soft 50/50 cotton polyester by Jerzees, made in USA.
    A few small spots on front, as shown in the photos. Graphics shows some cracking. No holes, no other issues.
    Tag size M, but probably fits a bit smaller than today’s M. Please note measurements to avoid returns: laid flat measures 20” across chest (armpit to armpit), 22” length (base of hood on back to bottom of sweatshirt), 30.5” sleeve length (center of base of hood on back to end of sleeve).

    Super rare vintage Champion jacket. Have not found one like this in my searches. Based on the tag and Talon zipper, the jacket dates to late 1940s to 1950s. Wool hooded jacket with Talon zipper. In excellent shape for age. No holes or damage. One corner of the U in Purdue is unstitched, but it appears it was an original sewing error since the stitching is still intact. Original Talon zipper works great, male insert side fully intact. Original draw cords on hood and at waist. Two pockets. Unlined as it originally came. Color is a dark loden green with gold wool felt lettering. Super comfortable...the ultimate vintage Champion hoody!!
