Description
Gorgeous mens vintage tailored suit, dated late 1940s-50s based on the union amalgamated label.The suit is made in an gray blue flecked gabardine wool.
The jacket has a 3 button closure and 4 buttons at the end of each sleeve. It has 2 patch and 1 slash chest pockets. The jacket is front lined in blue satin fabric.
The pants are single pleated and have a zippered fly and are cuffed (hand tailored). They have two side seam pockets and a watch pocket. High waist with 15" rise in front.
The suit is of top quality and a summer suit based on the absence of a lining.

It is in perfect ready to wear condition but for one flaw, it has a slight ring around the collar. As shown.

This is a very rare early example of the casual western suit, somewhat understated, but perfect for "blending into early 60s normalcy" while showcasing one's rockabilly persona. Absolutely Brilliant.

The inner lining has a large area of discoloration, this does not affect the suit form or function.
The exterior is in Excellent Condtion.
