    Description

    This auction is for a great vintage 1950's era gabardine wool suit. Jacket and matching pants. Fantastic blue color, nice drop loops, old zipper, patch pockets etc. Very nice details! Good shape too, no cuffs, a few faint little marks on leg and a slight sheen to the material in a couple areas from wear. No tag sizes. Jacket is around a 44L, but go by following: Measures 22.5" pit to pit, 26" sleeves, 32.5" neck seam to bottom, and 19" shoulder to shoulder. Pants measure 32" Waist and 34" inseam. Front rise is 14.5". Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

    below as I cannot guarantee your fit. Heavy wool tweed in tan with brown, red and orange plaid lines.
    JACKET
    Classic suit jacket design with notch lapel. Three-button front, three decorative buttons at each cuffed sleeve. Open chest and hip pockets. Unvented back. Fully lined. Measures flat as 17.5” across the shoulders, 20” across the chest, 33” long down center back from top of collar, 26” sleeve measured from the top of the shoulder seam.
    PANTS
    High waist flat front pants with interior suspender buttons and adjustable back belt. Zip fly. Open hand pockets, no back pockets. Measure as 28” waist, 13” rise, 32” inseam with about 2.25” of fabric in the hem, 7.75” leg opening.
    • Patched at seat and left knee with same fabric, see photos. Some lightness to the lining fabric. Pet-free and smoke-free home. Shipped in an air-tight, water-resistant bag, so you may need to steam out some wrinkles when you receive.
