    Description

    This auction is for a great vintage 1950's era 2 pc suit. Made by Clipper Craft. Great kind of checkered fleck pattern to it! Nice shape too, see pics. A couple visible threads on rear end seam, see pic 10. Jacket is tagged a 40 S, measures 21" pit to pit, 24.25" sleeves, 28.75" neck seam to bottom, and 17.5" shoulder to shoulder. Pants measure 34.5" waist and 27.25" inseam. Front rise is 12.25". Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

    Men's White Vintage Tuxedo
    You'll certainly be hard pressed to find this handsome tuxedo elsewhere.  It was made by After Six in the 70's.  A cutaway(or morning coat) gets its name from how the front skirts are cut away in front so as not to meet at the bottom.  They also feature a back similar to a tailcoat with a center vent.  This vintage cutaway is tailored in an elegant polyester with texture.  It also features a velvet collar and wide satin lapels.  Please zoom in on the above photos to fully appreciate all of these details.
    Included matching pants are flat front with a black satin stripe on either side.  You will most likely need to have them hemmed to match your inseam.  This tuxedo is polyester and machine washable; there are detailed cleaning instructions on the interior label.
    At least 40 years old and in very good condition.
