    Description

Made in Spain by clothing manufacturer  Hispacor.   This suit is right in style today.  Best color match is the closeup pic showing only the fabric.  The suit is in overall good condition.  There are a few flaws in it, which I have tried to capture in photos.  1. ink stain in red on inner lining of the jacket. Luckily didn't ever bleed through to the outer fabric.  2. An inner lining rip at the backs center.  3. slight tear along inside lining at the collar.  4. very faint minor pilling near the seat.  Could there be more issues?  I didn't see any, but, if you sit and go over the suit with a fine toothed comb, perhaps you might find something.  But, I feel confident in this assessment.
While the material looks like and feels like wool or a wool blend, it is most likely polyester.   That was the material used by many in the late 1960's-1970's
Size:  42L.  I think the pants 35 W and a 32 or perhaps 33 length.    I am 6' 1" and 185 Lb.    I wore a 44 L for many years and have some 34W-35W pants, depending on manufacturer or style.   So I hope that helps.   The pants in this suit felt comfortable in both L and W.
Feel free to make an offer.  I have no idea of this suits value other than to look at prior eBay "SOLD" listings.   So I will evaluate all offers.
NOTE: THE ACTUAL COLOR IS THE COLOR IN THE CLOSEUPS.  Sorry, my camera really distorted color in regular full suit pics.
    NOT RETURNABLE FOR ANY REASON.
Approximately a size 40 long but do go by measurements for best fit.
Jacket measures 18" across the shoulders, 42" through the chest, 38" at the waist and length is 32". Sleeves are 27" long from shoulder seam to cuff and 36" long from center of back of neck to cuffs. Jacket has 3 button front, no back vent, breast pocket, two besom front pockets, narrow lapel. Pants measure 31" at the waist (with another inch to let out if needed), 42" through the hips, inseam is 30.5" long and outside seam is 42" long. Leg opening is 9" in diameter. There's 1" to let out of the hem of the pants and you could let out the cuffs for more length.  Front rise is 14", back rise is 18". I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage pants as they fit very differently than modern pants.
Pants have belt loops on waistband,  metal talon zipper, flat front, the usual 4 pockets, and 1.75" wide cuffs. Fabric is wool with rayon lining in jacket. Label reads "P H Davis Cincinnati"--dated 1960 in the pocket. Very good condition with no holes; has a faint spot on the front of  the paints that you can see in the photos; should come out with cleaning. True color is light variegated grey in a very fine herringbone weave.
**US shipping is priority mail and international shipping is first class international.
**Merchandise shipped within two business days of receipt of payment.
**No returns unless item is not as described. Please email if you have an issue and we will work it out
**A note on measurements: I like to give measurements on items rather than a numerical size as I find this to be a much more precise way of determining size. If the garment I have measures the same as a garment you have, you can be assured of a good fit. If you have any questions about how I did the measuring just email! PS don't forget YOU must measure at least 1-2 inches smaller than the garment does for comfort! :)
