This is a very cool vintage classic short-sleeved two pocket shirt. This iconic white button down was made way back in the 1950s or early 1960s by the R.S. Apparel company right here in Indianapolis. We were able to get our hands on two of these beauties,
and are listing them individually because every article of vintage clothing is unique. The only blemish we could find on this one is a tiny spot of discoloration on the inside of the left pocket, which is almost certainly the result of a pencil or such being placed tip-down in the pocket at some point in decades past, and which we included a picture of alongside our modern mechanical pencil for scale. Otherwise it is in absolutely outstanding vintage condition, especially considering that it's now 70-odd years old. The pockets are the sharp, angled-bottom style, which along with the lay of the collar give this shirt tons of retro flare. There is no fraying to the sleeve cuffs, and all buttons are still fully intact and functional. It is tagged a size 14.5, and measures to about a size 40 at approximately 20 inches across the chest and 32 top to bottom.
