Very good vintage condition unbranded men’s two-piece suit used in a production of Ragtime, as shown.
• Not tagged for size, maker or origin, but seems like a 38--

below as I cannot guarantee your fit. Heavy wool tweed in tan with brown, red and orange plaid lines.
JACKET
Classic suit jacket design with notch lapel. Three-button front, three decorative buttons at each cuffed sleeve. Open chest and hip pockets. Unvented back. Fully lined. Measures flat as 17.5” across the shoulders, 20” across the chest, 33” long down center back from top of collar, 26” sleeve measured from the top of the shoulder seam.
PANTS
High waist flat front pants with interior suspender buttons and adjustable back belt. Zip fly. Open hand pockets, no back pockets. Measure as 28” waist, 13” rise, 32” inseam with about 2.25” of fabric in the hem, 7.75” leg opening.
• Patched at seat and left knee with same fabric, see photos. Some lightness to the lining fabric. Pet-free and smoke-free home. Shipped in an air-tight, water-resistant bag, so you may need to steam out some wrinkles when you receive.

A RARE VINTAGE 1940's ERA, BELL HOP UNIFORM. A DOUBLE BREASTED, BLUE WOOL JACKET. THE UPPER COLLAR IS BLACK WITH YELLOW TRIMMED EDGES. LONG SLEEVES, WITH BLACK, AND YELLOW TRIMMED CUFFS. EACH CUFF HAS THREE DECORATIVE BUTTONS. THE LABEL READS:  BROOKS UNIFORM CO. 75 WEST 4? TH. ST. NEW YORK,  NO. 12695, W 32. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS:  LENGTH - 22 1/2",  UNDERARM SEAM TO UNDERARM SEAM ( IN DIAMETER, LAID FLAT TO MEASURE ) 19", SHOULDERS - 18",  WAIST -  32",  SLEEVES -  24". IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH, SOME AGE OR FOOD SPOTS.  THE PANTS ARE BLACK WOOL, WITH TWO FRONT POCKETS, AND A BUTTON FLY. THE LABEL READS:  BROOKS UNIFORM CO. 75 WEST 4? TH ST. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS:  LENGTH FROM WAIST TO HEM -  45",  INSEAM -  31",  WAIST - 30". CONDITION:  ONE CORNER ON EACH POCKET SHOWS WEAR. THERE ARE A FEW EXPOSED STITCHES ON THE SEAT SEAM.
